My editing journey started in 7th grade, stringing Spider-Man clips to music with iMovie transitions. My edits became love letters to my favorite media. For the pure joy of it, I spent my nights learning to adjust audio, graph keyframes, play with aspect ratio, and analyze other edits. I manipulate video to capture the essence of characters and plots I resonate with. Editing also introduced me to artist collaboration. After making an Instagram to track my growth, I found a community of editors where we supported each other’s content and exchanged tips. Eventually, my foundations in editing took me over to the world of animation.
